The War in The Iliad

The War in The Iliad

Helen was ever considered "the face that launched a thousand ships" Everyone who had ever seen her would be attracted. She is the cause of the war between Greek and Troy. But the most important reason was Paris' decision in goddess' contest. Now that we have the general idea, then, let's continue to read the content.

Paris, prince of Troy went to Greek to negotiate with the king of Sparta, Menelaus about the peace between two countries. However, as Paris saw Menelaus' wife, Helen, he was deeply attracted by her. Paris totally forgot everything, because the only thing he remembers was how to make Helen become his wife. Then he didn't care about the peace between two countries and took Helen away from her husband, her child. As we can know, the war between Greek and Troy broke out. There is still a mystery we don't understand. Did Helen go Troy with Paris willingly? Or because of Aphrodite's power, then it's easy for Paris taking her away? Maybe it's important, may it's not. I think that should be the most charming part of the literature, because we can have room for imagination.

This fight lasted ten years long. The king around Greece and Troy also joined to the war for some reasons. The next article we will talk about the best solider Achilles and the conflict between Greek commanders in chief Agamemnon.

Hello, this is Vicky.
The sentence "Helen was ever considered 'the face that launched a thousand ships' Everyone who had ever seen her would be attracted." I don't know that they are two sentence or the capitalization is wrong.
